Command & Conquer: Red Alert

Hi all.

I just dug up an old copy of Red Alert and installed it. Wonderful game it is... =)
There is a problem though of course, the frame rate is so high that within ten seconds that I start the first mission, "mission failed"!:ouch:
I know that the first GTA had a frame rate limiter, is there a similar thing for RA? Or maybe you know of something else that can help?

I haven't played the original Red Alert in a very long time. I could be reaching here, but isn't there an option that you can set to change game speed? Slowing it down could help with it going so fast. I know Red Alert 2 has this and that is what I had to do on my current computer.
 
Try to Google it... I installed RA2 recenntly and had some similar issue... I ended up having to download a patch and it worked perfectly after.

Anyway I should look for that setting and that patch! Thanks!

That patch is only for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge, not the original, but can be found at the 'RA Argentina' site
