But 1:15.xxx is the time you need to beat if you want to win a unicorn.

He has side bets with his co-workers. If he doesn't place better than 5000, then he'll have to do some dumb stuff. This way, he can get as good a time as possible to not be punished with his main account, and then do a slower time for everyone else to get a free car.
This might stop soon as the community seems to be disappointing/pissing off T10 time after time after time.
They're just an ungrateful, ignorant, selfish bunch of peters.
They were demanding to get 2 unicorns for beating the much faster time, among other things.
Such a shame.

As for my time, thanks! Tried out a bunch of tunes and followed the TPR guys around for ~50 laps. I had a 1:05.6xx, but it was dirty and I'm not consistent enough to get back there, so I gave up.

The event is open all month, but you had to post a time before 8am PST this morning to get the unicorn.
