I've mess about in Course Maker a lot since release and have been able to create some sublime tracks that I Time Trial and race on.

Last night I created about 4 tracks, all with 7 sectors, and got that buzz. Then I thought wouldn't it be great if somehow we could submit courses users genuinely thought were good enough (better than the ones PD use) to be used by PD and create a seasonal event of 5 races.

Time Trial
There are 3 times to beat. An arbitrary/generic 3rd place time, a PD time and the creators time (for maximum prize money).

Race
Up to 12 A.I. I have found the A.I. is a lot quicker on Course Maker tracks than in the game so that would be a nice challenge.

I haven't got a clue how PD would implement this but I guess there would need to be a submission system in place with a direct link in the game to upload to a server at PD.

Good idea/bad idea?
 
You could do it.
Pick a car and take the track online.
Give a Ticket to the person with the fastest time.
You can set the rules up exactly as you wish.
 
That would be cool and if we were to have the ability to save them.

Finding a good enough system would be difficult.
