competitive races/ PP for each race

I couldn't find anything on this. Until I get internet in my apartment I am playing on an 'other than normal' account. Does anyone know what pp level would be competitive and fun for the career races? I don't mind the sure thing win, but a little fighting for first it's fun too.
 
It depends on how skilled you are and what races you're doing. You can only try different performance levels and see what is a good match for you.

On a general note, I find the AI to be more competitive at low PP levels, while they drive more carefully the higher up the PP goes.
