Complaint About The American Flag in The Banner

not to many people might agree with me here, but i was thinking. We have an American flag in the banner, and the GTPlanet slogan is connecting auto enthusiasts everywhere which means every country. that flag makes this place look like an all-american forum.

have a think about it.
 
I am an American, and this is my website. I will make it look however I want. I am assuming that international visitors will be intelligent enough to understand this website is celebrating America's independence day, and not a closed community simply for Americans. :rolleyes:
 
"Independance day" is over, so you should remove it! :D

OF course the whole independance thing was a little wierd, as the country could have asked Britian for their independance (Like a neighbour to the north) and they would have given it to them, rather than wasting lives on both sides "fighting" for their independance, or colonialism. :P

You mean just like the gave Ireland? Every time you post, you solidify my initial impression of yourself. :rolleyes:

M5- yea "Show me State" is pretty dumb...what are we showing? I donno...I think it shoulda been "Gateway State"(as in gate way to the west cause that's what the Arch represents).

You mean just like they gave Canada?! Ireland is close enough that it makes "sense" for the birts to hold it. By the time Canada was awarded independance, it made no sense to hold colonies, and they were giveing them away left right and center.

Next time read into some sarcasm in a post before you attempt to insult me.

And what is this "initial impression?"
 
Oh - zee.

You guys seem to put a real emphasis on the Aus, and it sounds like two words. The two 's's run into one another.

Your accent is much harsher in pronouncing vowels than ours - we just flatten them so they're indistinguishable, except for A - mmm... nasally....
