If you hold L2 and R2 at the same time, you can stay in the same gear without going overboard. Even with automatic...

I was having trouble with the S-8 license, but once I did this trick, I finished in about 3 tries. Had to get used to it first... :)
 
Thanks I forgor about that. I use that trick because I have to keep my 787B from shifting up to the 5th gear, because it actually slows down.
 
that happened to one of my f1 cars when i slid the final gear ratio all the way too the left only it happened going into the 6th gear
 
so you guy used trick to pass the s-8? i though i was the bad drive since i didn't passed the s-4 and who cares anyway.
