Component cable help

I have a normal 32 inch tv and i only use the av cable supplied with the ps3 for now but I am considering getting component cables for it since my tv supports it....it sin the back.
Can anyone tell me that if the visual quality of the ps3 games and stuff will be greatly enhanced or don't bother in buying the cable???
 
Playing the PS3 without atleast component cables is like playing Doom 3 on a GeForce 4 MX440:
Oh, it'll do it. But why bother?
So, that's a yes. Spring for component if your TV supports it.

If your TV isn't an HDTV, the quality will be improved, but not that much. If it is, then the difference will be like night and day.
