Computer help.

Hey guys ive got some questions. Ok first i have just recently replaced my mother board with one my cousin gave me. But it doesnt have a slot for my diskette?? So i took it out. Am i missing something??. Secondly there is this wire that originally was on the mother board but now has no home on this new one. What is the wire, do i need it?? Thirdly, i need a CPU. It is a pentium 4 prossesor. I need low prices. Thanx Oh the computer im using is a dell gx260 optiplex. I have a few pictures of thw wire and the cpu and the green motherboard is the old one. The purple one is the newer one. Oh and the blurry shot that has a red circle is where the slot for the wire is on the computer and ther is no place on the board. And the cleared picture with a white slot on it is where the wire went in the old mother board.

Well, for starters, I'd ask your cousin for a manual for the motherboard to hook it up correctly. Second, some better quality pictures might help as I can't even tell what that wire is or where it connects to. Third, check newegg.com, tigerdirect.com and pricewatch.com for processor prices. I have no idea to be honest how to help.

The wire looks like the power cable you plug into the mobo from the power supply..
