Computer issue (no idea what it is though)

So lately my computer has been running fine, except maybe a slight drop in frame rate during gaming. Tonight I turned it on and it didn't even bring up my desktop screen after about 5-10 mins, so I manually shut it off, I rebooted and got this
AF7A6A1A-78F3-4A74-AE63-F6CBC70B2C64-11018-000038C56B273F53.jpg

It said something about my hard drive.
And now the entire computer running horrendously slow, applications that usually take less than a min to load or do anything now takes 20-30 mins I have no idea what's going on, I'm running Avast right now and it's found one infected file and only 17% done 1hr in.
Any idea what was happening in the picture?

How will it tell me? it finished and just went back to rebooting, do you think it could have been from ccleaner or glary utilities?

I downloaded it but I don't know how it works

thanks for your help so far.
the health tab just says calibration retry count: 44 status: warning, that's the only flag, which I have no idea what that is.

anyway Avast! finally finished it's full system scan and boot scan, and everything appears to be back up to speed Maybe (edit: maybe not fully yet). It found 1 virus that it said was a "severe threat" and took care of it.
do you think I should still start in clean boot state? what does it accomplish?

Better: Lower
Descripton:This attribute indicates the count that recalibration was requested (under the condition that the first attempt was unsuccessful). An increase of this attribute value is a sign of problems in the hard disk mechanical subsystem.

If the computer is under warranty, log it for repair

Then is there anything I can do to fix such a thing from windows or is that purely up to mechanical repair? It's 3 or so years old, I doubt it's still under warranty but I'll check tomorrow
