Computer not trying there best

If you go to the replay of some races i think mainly in beginer races and put on the option to see your acel and brake meter some of the computer cars never go full throtle, i think i have even seen it as low as half throtle. It really makes me mad because you can never really have a fair race this way. Has anyone else noticed this? Let me know what you think.:burnout:

Well, that's the Beginer's League for you. It seems to me that the AI (computer) does try to even out the race as best it can. If you are way ahead, it will start driving like a bad ass professional and start to catch up. If you are way behind, it will do stupid things like slide off into the dirt on Leguna Seca. It's trying to ballance the game and give you closer more fun competition.

Yeah I have noticed that the comp in Beginner League does suck, I did the Turbo Midfield 2 race like a thousand times, always racing against a 3000 GT VR-4 with my Tureno GT-Apex, and on one race I spun going into the hairbin after the tunnel and was behind by 13 seconds at the first split, and at the finish line I was behind by 3, so I made up 9 seconds in 1 minute. Then at the first split on lap 2 I was ahead by .3seconds, 2nd split up by 2.4 seconds and at the finish line barely under 3 seconds. It's like they slow down just so you can catch up and speed up to try and beat u.

The AI in the Beginner league is poor, eh? Yikes, I am in some trouble when graduate to the Amature League. :/

I guess it wouldn't be so bad except for that blue Miata that, which seems to be the only car that gives me competetion thus far.

Oh, it'll get tougher, just you wait. But your skills will improve much faster than the computer does. And later on in Professional and some Amature races, when the race is long enough that you have to pit, if you fall behind don't give up. The computer will probably start screwing up in the later laps and give you a chance to catch it.

Fully jacked Toyota GT1 and I still lose on Midfield

True that, true that. And it's no walk in the park with an F1 either.
