What it is: Altec Lansing (VS3251)
What it costs: $60
How long have you owned/used it: Less than 1 week

Pros:

* High power output for little cost (value)
* Comes with a remote that works
* Multiple inputs
* Sound are clear and bass from sub more than plenty

Cons:

* For some reason when I turn off my computer monitor it starts to have a hum unless I turn it off. (hooked up to my monitor)

Overall Rating: 8/10

Conclusion: In the past I would've said avoid Altec Lansing but everytime I've purchased something from them they've been pretty damn good for the value. 👍

My previous computer speaker setup was with Yamaha. I couldn't find specs though.

I have been using a Dell Altec Lansing 5.1 system on my pc for the last 3 years and they are that good and loud they made my techincs seperates gather dust and I ended up flogging them cheap to an interested party :) here's my pc speakers ..
