Computers in motorland

While I was racing in the Type R meet on motorland in the one make races (honda), the computer players started acting weird. I was using B-spec when suddenly all the computer cars start pitting like crazy. I checked out what was happening and on one of the last curves, they would all go into the dirt and slide to the pits. :) I lapped everyone in my EK, but I was just wondering, has this ever happen to someone else before?

Yup. Same course, Type R in A-Spec. Most of them went wide and either hit the pit wall and drove into the pits, or slid right into the pit entrance every lap. Lame...

Yeah I've seen that, the Integra's and the Civic would do it. How bad can the AI get...

They would also hit the pit wall, reverse onto the grass, and drive into the pits. In one case the car reversed and hit the wall again and went into the pits. :)

Did that race yesterday the Civics would pit every 5 laps and the NSX-R i was chasing for the win pitted coming the finish line giving the win to me. That was just plain funny.

Happened to me to guys. :-)
every lap, it lapped them in my nsx type r '92.
I almost pitted the nsx-r every lap. And he only pitted three times or so :-p

I ought to try this some time,
Is it on both NTSC and PAL versions that this happens, or only on one?

same here, integra pitted every lap but kept missing and was reversing in to the pit

Only the Civic's did it for me, the Integra, Accord and NXS's drove quit nicely.

With me the Integras pitted like every other lap. The Civic and the two NSX's handeled the turn quite okay.

Same here are well. At one stage I thought my tyre and fuel indicators were mis-reading and that I must have to pit sometime soon. Glad to hear it's a general bug, at least it explains the strange happens.

I must admit I did a similar thing myself but on a different course. I came out of the last turn wide, and ended up going into the pits by mistake. I can laugh about it now, but at the time it screwed my race up a threat.
