gt3 drift settings library is now online!

Hey everyone I know this is a little late, with GT4 coming out and all but I copied all the drift settings from the original Drift Settings Depot thread to a .txt file so it can easily be searched instead of reading through 30+ pages of half nonesence :yuck: Anybody want to host it? If not I'll just send em out to people as they ask me.

Very interesting. Well, excellent effort at the very least. I like to use a basic settings template and go from there. But I can see how this could be very helpful to some.

Anyway, good job. :cool:
 
oh really? You speak of the drift settings depot 2 right? I tried going to that site, but it's been down for quite some time.. Most of the people probobly won't even need what I made because GT4 is coming out soon, but hey, it's for the few that will not buy gt4 yet or the new people to gt3 (if we get any).

If it's useful to only a few people then at least I know it wasn't a waste of time.



Maybe somebody should put this in the FAQ? Or perhaps a sticky? Something? :indiff:
 
It's not almost useless, just because GT4 now is out and will be out soon in other regions. I've heard MMMAAANNNYYYYY people complain about how it is to drift in GT4............it seems to suck, so I'll probably stick with GT3 drifting rather than an unrealistic, more difficult, less fun way of drifting in GT4. So it might get popular even now:)👍

yea its a pretty cool site, but if u wanna refine the work u have, try to make an Excel spreadsheet... it will be much cleaner
 
Most def....An excel spreadsheet would be real nice.

Hmmm, that got me thinking (WATCH OUT!)...if anyone here happens to know PHP or CGI, I bet it wouldn't be to hard to turn a spreadsheet into a nice interactive webpage, similar to the GT4 car list page.

Nice effert. But still takes too much time to look for one setting. I think if i have some time, i'll design a site and host all of the settings in an orginized maner.
 
Yeah, it was more or less a quick thing for me to use as reference but it found itself online. I might purchase web hosting service to host team vids and a team site if I have time.

How is it taking long to search through? Just press ctrl+F and type in what your looking for. I always find what I want in a few seconds.
