Link please.:D

Theres one posted in a forum here, look through the car list topics, the site is full of BS.

I would like to know what these cars are:

i just noticed some of them have their names on the license plates so don't give me those ones names

Um, there are no pictures posted, all I see are those pesky tiiny boxes with the "X" on top. :(

Same here.

Nope, I checked it way before, it really didn't show up, I think we have to PM him for his failed attempt to post those pictures. I bet those pics will be very nice. ;)

The new M5 is in a special version of GT4, if you looked in the master car list thread you would see thats just been posted, not a gaurentee but a good sign anyway. There will be more BMW's than GT3 had anyway.

BMW M3 is alredy confirmed, try browsing the whole thread from page 2 onwards. ;)

The M3 hasn't been confirmed, it was spotted at a test day, but that doesn't confirm anything. Loads of cars get tested that won't be in, but PD keep the results for future reference.

I think they did that the same with the Ferrari F355.

Yeah, theres a pic with what looks like a F355 at the sme test day, lets hope they are both in though.

Cant you see how poor quality that scan is, the game is accurate but it still looks like a game, I have a mag with thoes exact comparisons in it and you can tell without any trouble, get over yourselves all you who think it will look like real life, it doesn't, it's good but not much better than GT3.

Equally in GT : P, just look at the tracks based on their real life counterparts. Although the track layout is the same, look how barren the scenery is, particually outside the circuit.

Its like Stephen Kings Langoliers

What about the Toyota mk1 MR2 (AW11, possibly in supercharged form) there were screenies of? Not to mention the whole swag of old econo boxes i saw videos of on ign (corona's, corolla's, datsun sunny's etc etc).

There were a swag of screenies of a VW karmann ghia. The original beetle has to be in too!

Odds are that 206 in the photo's is in fact a GTI, and ingame will probably turn into the GTI 180 to be more competition for the clio and civic.

Oh, and if the mk2 golf gti is in, then the pug 205 gti 1.9 has to be! Not only was it the best hot hatch of the 80's, but it was a few major magazines car of the decade (namely CAR magazine). Since peugeot are already in, i would be very very surpised if their best car didn't make it in. ;)

Speaking of oldies, the lotus cortina and ford mustang (circa 1965) have to be in! Iconic cars! Oh, and the lotus esprit v8 has to be in too! Maybe the elan...

That opens the door for some old astons (db5, db4 zagato), and some old tvr's (1965 tuscan!). Oooh, magical.

But fantasy at the moment... :p

Oh, regarding a very old post in here WRT the "backfire".

Not only turbo cars blow fuel into the exhaust. If you watch something like, oh, say.. the australian v8 supercars, you'll notice they spit fuel through the exhausts on the overrun, causing a stream of flame to pour out until they put the foot back in.

This is quite common with big racing cars, as they dont have cut out on lift, and extremely high flow. Most road cars have fuel cut out over a certain rpm (like my 205 gti (1600rpm), my mates mk2 golf gti etc), but they can still burble a fair bit if they have a good flow rate. :)

Of course, turbo cars can throw quite a bit of fuel through the exhaust because of the very highl flow rate as the turbo spins down. If you lift with the turbo revved up, you can push a fair bit of fuel into the exhaust and get a nice flamethrower effect (or in exhaust detonation and blow the exhaust off!).

The road version of the 205 T16 would blow fire (the rally version would take the paint off the boot :p).

I don't think it can be so much better than in GT3 except for the bugs :-/

Not on the PS2 anyway, but GT3 doesn't come close to photrealistic.
