Currently redoing the gran turismo all stars with my NISSAN GT-R Concept LM Race Car '02 to try and improve my A-spec, as it can get 200 with dirty oil and hard tyres, when i got to the test course.

Severly hampered by the cars lack oof power, even with stage 3 turbo and nitrous, the only way to have a chance of starting on pole I had to change the oil and slipstream the nissan r92. I followed it all the way around and when I went over the line for my time, I was 3 seconds faster, and on pole, even though the r92 went around in nearly the same time, so come how does that work????

The r92's lap time started before yours, unless you slipstreamed the whole lap - then we are both confused.

I have to admit to a little underhand tatics, when I came out of the pits I pulled out in front of the r92, that sat behind it all the way around, the warm up lap and the flying lap, and started the race on pole.

One thing that works for me, is to sit and figure which car is his, then restart practice, bust a u-turn, then ram him full speed head on. As you slide backwards, cut the wheel and get on the gas to straighten up. then you can complete your warm up, and flying lap provided you stay in front of him, and as soon as you cross the start/finish line, end the session before he crosses and his 'good' lap time registers. How's that for underhanded. You're still on your own for the race though

Funny... I'm working on GT All Stars for points as well 👍

My car of choice - the Chapparal 2J. It's definitely a race car killer.

How is that Nissan working (w/T3 yes)? Are they tight races? Do you HAVE to qualify for each race in order to win?

Back to your question. Let Test Course go!

Come back later with a souped up sports car that will EASILY get you 200p. Because you don't need downforce or good tires to get points there. :dopey:
