Confused! This doesnt make sense..

I was so looking forward to driving this beauty in GT5, and since I saw this video I was sure it was going to be a Premium car!



But no, when I got the full game, it was standard, and also one of the worst quality ones as well!

Why didnt they use this model? I dont get it, any one know?

Mind Boggling i tell you....one of my most favorite cars too.
 
Wow. That track looks 1000 times better than GT5's!
 
I think it is very odd, because the '95 Celica Rally Car is Premium in GT5, so why not this?

It's the best looking car ever made!

Lol, they are 2 very different cars, also it doesnt get the SWRT livery, only some ugly GT stickers..
 
Its probably one of those models that Kaz wasn't pleased about yet. Must be tons more "nearly premium" models sitting in the PD database. Lets just hope they release some of them soon.

Let's hope so! This has been my favourite car since I was 9! Yes, in 1999 :D
 
It does not look that bad as a standard. It is one of the better looking standards, at-least they did not make it look like crap like some of the other cars in the game.
 
Shame as that and the 22B are my favourite Impreza (I have the 22B just to look at)

At least the Evo VI TM and the Marlboro Group A car are in the game

It's because it is better. The GT:HD and Prologue engine didn't have to do the dynamic lighting and deformable cars that GT5 does, also GT:HD has no other cars on track so more resources were available to make the game look far better than GT5 does.
 
Same, I was looking forward to driving that hopefully premium Subaru. It's one of my favourite cars.

I remember downloading the Gran Turismo HD Concept back in 2007.
I found it in my downloads and just started re-downloading it to see how much has changed compared to GT5.

Some tracks have a crowd that looks 2D. Off the top of my head, I remember Chamonix in the Loeb Challenge; at the start the crowd just looked very 2D.

Yea on other tracks, but on Eiger they are 3D.
