Yep... Bob runs the Dream Car Champ while I'm busy, just gotta hit a couple buttons every 15 min or so, then take a break from my RL stuff to check the UCD after.

This is brilliant. But I had to wait until I got the X2, because even the FGT wasn't fast enough to run the walls and pull away from the competition. I set it up and let it go yesterday from 1 p.m to 10 p.m and I banked 13 million in credits on Like The Wind - Indy Track.

This game would be so much more enjoyable, and people would probably do more racing themselves and not this "auto grind" if they awarded you more XP and CR per race. I mean spending 9 hours on an endurance race in A Spec and you only get 500k+ in credits for it. Come on!

I've wondered the same thing... and I have a lot more time on my hands now than I ever did!
I can only imagine that some people can and do spend a lot more time playing gt5 than most of us could imagine.

If you have other regular hobbies, a spouse, and especially if you have children, and especially if other people in the house are vying for time on the ps3/tv... then it's hard to gain credits.

We (when psn is on) do a couple of bspec remote races on a regular basis while doing other things, including all our friends' bspecs. And those friends return the favour... So they're running our bobs when we're not even playing or maybe not even home... so that makes some credits without investing a lot of time.

Yes, very true. aspec races pay diddly bop!! We wouldn't even be able to play if it wasn't for remote racing and grinding the seasonals a bit.

Just start a race with the X2010, walk away and do something productive, come back in 15-20 minutes, start another, and so on. Then run Enduros when you're out.

B-spec here.. Bob runs alot in a Seb Vettel X1 which has now done 82,000 miles or 131,966 Km!!!! Best event is Dream car champion ship 86K per race 5 races and 442k for the tournament adds to about 900k. Most races take about 12-16mins unless weather affected. Whole tournament 1.1hrs to about 1.8hrs denpending.

I have almost 600 cars

My A-spec is 40
My B-spec is 40

I don't constantly sit at the game. I have other responsibilities.

I never tried the auto-grind technique, and I wouldn't say I really did any grinding. I ran races I enjoyed and had fun.

I didn't play much online, unless I was with friends; every Friday night (until the new NASCAR game was released).

I do have nearly 50 online friends around the world who ran my b-spec guys almost constantly for me. I gave most of them a car just for being so nice.

I have all the trophies except Gold Standard, 1000 cars, and the Platinum (of course). I may get back to the last 10 licenses and try to Gold Vettel, but maybe not.

Hope to get the rest of the trophies, but I'm going into a beta for another game shortly (if PSN ever gets fixed). So, the trophies might wait until that's over.

I think that if you are grinding, it's probably not much fun. And, why play the game if you don't have fun doing it.
