Connecting to Game Provider

All my mates today have been getting this message today...I know that you normally reset GTA but that isnt working. Are they finally updating GTA so it does things like supporting 100friends? Or are the servers dead for today?

I doubt an "update" would take that long-- or if it was an update, someone screwed the pooch on it... having the same problem-- haven't tried to get back on since last night.

The servers must of dropped out or something.
