This connection problems is the greatest problem with GT5, it's usualy not the user's connection that is the problem but the game servers.
It must be a great problem for GT5 because this is what make a great game to be something not so great...
Trying one hour to get a race started what in the h... is that?! It's grownups that love to race that play this game to, and we don't have time for this type of problems..

Connection problems is a big deal. FIX IT!!!

(Clean serious online racer's are welcome to add me as a friend if interested, just add GTP in request)

Whine whini whine.

Realy, you not agreed?..

Nope. because with my connection, I haven't experienced these problems. Ohh and there's plenty of threads on this matter already...

While it is perfectly true that other threads on connection issues exist, that does not justify the post you made.

It was insulting to the OP and added nothing to the thread at all.

Continue to post in this manner and you will be taking a holiday from GT Planet.

Scaff

My connection is fine. :D

Ok then I'm sorry, but I was thinking this was the way to get the message to the people that have something to say in this matter.
I do not want to be insulting to anyone so when that is the case maybe it's possible to delete the thread?...

Ignore the trolls just remember to search before starting a thread and you will be fine

Hi MaX Iceman as thelvynau said just ignore Jawehawk he is one of the players that GTP and GT5 could do without. You are not the only one having problems with online issues. There are lots of players having the same issue. Hopefully they will fix it in the next update.

Totally agree OP!

Every patch makes it worse!

I think we are on the wrong way .

With some dutch guys we each called sony nl helpdesk and urged them to make separated case nr's and send them to the UK .

Sony NL says the problems are new and they never heard of it .

I advice everyone make a summary of problems u got and call your local Sony Helpdesk that way they get lots of complaints .

We have got an official case nr and they have to reply them if not we call Sony again in a few days and ask them how things are

x2

i run a fiber optic connection with 20mb/down and 10mb/up, however, since the most recent update I have experienced some significant menu freezing while online (both hosting a room and as a guest).

i've also noticed that there is significant lag time after pressing x to enter/exit a menu. it's a frequent occurrence since the latest update

Dear baby jesus I laughed out loud at this statement for about 3 solid minutes lol.

I rarely have issues with GT5 online, however it's not always flawless.
While it's not perfect, I would fall into the group that thinks most issues of
online connectivity problems lie with the individual users connection more than the server itself.
