Connection Timed out, wth?

Ok well I got a new ISP about 2 months ago, I've had the online adaptor for the PS2 before the new ISP and it worked great but I know I have to reconfigure my online adaptor with the new ISP, so as I set it up everytime the adaptor tries to test my connection it always says connection timed out. Anyone knows what this means and how to fix it?

It probably can't connect to the internet with your new ISP. Try giving Sony a call.

Or try resetting the network configuration. You can also call your ISP. Let the network adapter try to set the settings automatically. From my experience, you can't use anything faster that a CAT5 cable. If you use a CAT6 cable it times out.
