As you guys can see, im Brazilian. Even still, i take all cares to improve my connection everytime before i play:

- I do restart my modem.
- Test connection, getting around 12 mbps DL and 0,9 mbps UL, UPNP working, NAT 2... nothing able to bring any trouble while playing.
- Go to the GT5 internet cache and clean everytime.
- Make sure to get in rooms with at least 2 bars and 3 stars of connection pairity and quality.

Even stills, after 2.08 im losing connection few seconds after be able to get into any room. Before that, i hardly had any problem to play with Brazilians, North American, European, and even people from NZ, Australia or Japan. Now is very rare to be able to stay in a room and still there.

Also, im concient that most times after a new update, some abnormal situations related to connection can happens, and this isn´t the first time. Even stills, i dont remember had so hard time after a patch.

The questions are... is there anybody else have such kind of problems, no mater where you are from or who you´re trying to play with? What can i do to refine my gameplay quality after the 2.08 (besides what i already do)?

Yes i'm having problems also

I was getting disconnected from lobbies. That was fixed by re-starting my ps3

but now my game is crashing a lot more. Its crashed atleast 5 times today. very annoying

I am having the same issue myself.

Before the update I would have an occasional issue but since the update constant drop outs.

Another thing that has just started happening is very jumpy game play. Lag all over the place.

The only update I want to see is a fix to these game play issues.

Had almost zero fun tonight online with all of the problems encountered.

Same sentiments here.

Game crashed 3 times in a row for me. Twice while a race was about to start, the other time was before it had even finished booting up.

After the game finally decided to work, I got a few races in before being dropped from the server several times.

I'd like to blame my internet connection and say it's not GT5's fault. But having throroughly tested my connection before playing GT5, my ping time to 50 different countries from around the world, with the exception of Brazil (140ms) and Australia (162ms) was less than 100ms in ping time (only 32ms to Japan and under 50ms across America!). With a consistent download speed of 103.8Mb/s and 9.4Mb/s upload tonight, and no packet losses, and with all other online activity and online games working fine beforehand, I can only pin the blame on GT5. 👎

Since the update 1 day old my machine has now crashed 3 times, and that was on time trial !!!

Are you guys connecting ok with other games?

I am having the same problems with GT5 but haven't noticed a problem with CoD MW2 and CoD MW3. But I haven't played CoD nearly as much as I played GT5... or should say tried to play GT5.

Today we had a race, 11 people participated, "Private Lounge", everyone with all ports open and NAT type 2.. In the curse of 15 minutes the Room kicked 5, Lather on after the race kicked 2 more.

I think Kaz tweeted something about it. I don't believe it's the update, but rather a server problem. PD is on it.

Yesterday while in the online lobby cruising, I decided to switch cars. Hit the little exit button while in the track and I was stuck on the pre race screen. Happened 3 times yesterday. I have resorted to setting my cars as favorites and having to use arcade to test my cars now

Look at the news section when booting up GT5, it states they are having connection issues, but give no date as to when the problem will be resolved. It is one of the vaguest news bulletins to date... :(
