Constantly frozen car list in online lobbies?

So nearly every time I go to change my car in an online lobby, the list takes forever to load and sometimes it doesn't load at all. It's been trying to load my standard car list for probably 5 minutes now and it looks like I'll have to do another game reboot. I have over 1,100 cars in my collection but that shouldn't be the issue...

Does this happen to anybody else?
 
Yes it's because of all the cars.

I have 1500 standards and I can't even think about opening it in an online room.

I keep rotating my standards in the favorites list.

Gt6 hopefully manages it better.
 
I've tried it before, but it haven't happened in a while. What I would suggest, is that you install the game data (if you haven't already done so). If that doesn't solve your problem, you can try going hardwired, or connect to a "worse quality"-lobby. I'm not sure if any of the above is the correct solution for this, but it worked for me 👍.
