Looking for some help getting a car to drift that is not necessarily meant to. For instance, in Tsukuba and Cape Ring tracks in the GT Academy, the Nissan's are very strong rear wheel drive powered cars, and I see the top players that get under 1'06'xx times and are in the 1'05'xx's are using these cars to drift instead of as true race cars etc... I'm trying to figure out how to get the back to drift around when going around these turns. It appears in the data logger that they will just tap the brakes and turn hard, then counter steer, I can't seem to recreate it, any tips you guys have would rock!

You try not to countersteer in the GTacademy as it slows you down. You try to keep the wheel perfectly straight throughout the corner after throwing your car into the corner and steer with the throttle. The technique we use is trailbraking and there's an entire thread in the GT Academy section of this forum regarding "drift" which got rather heated.
Search function is your friend :D Good luck with the academy and have fun.
