Controller problem or just me...

Well,

My old controller was roughly broken (only 1 vibration engine was working, R2 barely worked, left analog was not calibered...), so I decided to buy a new one. The blue lagoon transparent one (Sony DS2 of course). I played with it and found that the buttons are hard. I need to push really hard to get full throttle. Is it a problem or is it just because its new ???

I've had few. My first PS2 came with one, no problem with any buttons. Second one was aftermarket, no problems. I bought my PSTwo(slim), which came with two controllers, neither had issues like yours.

If the problem still persists, I'd exchange it or return it, personally.....

Are the buttons kinda hard to press down? They probably just need to be loosened up. It should happen naturally as you use them more and more.

If they're loose, and you have to push hard to max out the analog range, then there's a problem. One of my old PS2 controllers does that on a few of the buttons.
