I bought a Ferrari California which i wanted white with the red interior but the red interior only comes on the black California. I bought this one, bring it to the paint shop, painted in white but...magic, the paint shop guys put black leather interior at the same time. Is there a reason that the color change? Or just because it's a damn Ferrari?

I don't know, some cars' interiors change based on color. Nothing you can do about it

That's BS. I was going to change the colour of my R8 to match the interior. :(

yea its also pretty stupid with stripes aswell.
I WANT RED WITH BLACK STRIPES ON MY CAMARO :(

Thats...pretty dumb to tell you the truth. i don't know why this was applied to the game, i'm positive you could do just about any color combo you want in real life.

I remember a couple of cars has interiors that changes color to the exterior paint you choose, like the Mercedes 300SL, so it isn't just convertibles. And I'm not really sure why PD doesn't let you choose the interior color yourself. Pretty disappointing, really. But what's in the game is in the game (unless PD decides to implement it in one of the patches), and what determines the interior color is unknown to me.

Yeah, what happens in GT5 stays in GT5 I guess.

As far as Ferrari goes, it is sickening to see just how much they will allow you to screw up the colours.

The Tuscon 6 is the same way. I bought a greyish one that had black interior. Later I decided I wanted to paint it a Tuscon factory color, Formula Red (which factory has black interior). When painted, the interior turned tan. The stripes are annoying as mentioned. Scuderia stripes can turn white like the Camaro depending on the color.

you guys can try differrent paints, for me, i want my ford gt in light blue with white stripe but most of the light blue i painted give me black stripe untill i painted french blue then i have my car in light blue with white stripe.

just another one of GT5's minor annoyances.

Hell knows why PD doesn't have a blue/white stripes paint for the dodge viper gts. That was the iconic color combination of the gts.

It would be cool if PD let us use 2 different paint chips for 2-tone cars.

One day I will have my white/dual blue racing stripes dodge viper
