Only just seen this thread up! Sorry.

Will ratch out the GT4 disk and replace the Vegas 2 one that is sat in the machine at the minute, and do some runs hopefully tonight.
I have been mostly playing Vegas/Vegas 2 over the last week or so, just cos it's a nice big fat distraction, and I can put it down if I need to.

But things are sort of settling down now, so I should be able to do short races without interruption.

Neil

Managed to do my first run!

Best lap splits (L2) are:

T1:40.775
T2:1'32.221

Managed to get in the lead by 1st corner L2, and the L2 times are indicative of the drafting down the S/F straight L1/L2.

Quite fun actually!👍

So, only one time-zone, or can times be local? It may be difficult for some entries to submit their results on one given the diverse group of potential racers...

It hasn't generally been a problem in ANY of the series I have either competed in OR directed!
The series director HAS to set a single time for submissions, otherwise he could potentially be waiting round for 18 hrs for a straggler to submit.
If the deadline is early for you then you get the thread up early too! So you lose no time.

23.59 hrs GMT is the obvious choice also, as GMT is the std from which ALL other time zones are worked out from, not the other way round!

Also i live in the UK so 11:59pm is about as late as i can stay up on a night before work (i love my sleep:dopey:)

Anyways, did some runs in the MGF. Noticed its too fast so knocked it down to 135BHP (cant update the entry list as im at the missus'). These splits are for the reduced HP car:

T1: 40.490
T2: 1'32.117

They werent on the same lap. Damn MG is good on accel, but wild around the corners... keeps it interesting!

Andy

Well we only got 2 times submitted for this race. I know superberkut is still ok for the series but that only gives us 3 entries. Are Tire King and ICallShotGun still interested in running?

Andy

Yeah Sorry mate!

Times sent in late.:guilty:
Had a bit of a family crisis to take care of, and it took till now to do so.

All's OK, but took time to sort.

Neil

Ah, no probs Neil! Patience is a virtue as they say:guilty:

If all are happy with how that went, shall we start with the main season? I know Tyre Kings MX-5 looks a bit slow, but that could be down to the v. long straights at New York. Perhaps it would be worth adding a penalty weight depending on the results ie.

1st place + 2% weight
2nd place + 1% weight
3rd place - stay same
4th place - 1 % weight
5th place - 2% weight
etc.

The penalty/bonus' would add up all the way through the season.
Any thoughts?
