Converting .VCR files?

OK, so for my game GTR2, the replay files are saved as .VCR, and I would like to be able to use them in such places as Youtube and Windows Movie Maker. What is the easiest / simplest way to do this? do I have to purchase anything?

The vcr file is just the race data. The only thing that can use it is GTR2.

You need to play the replay in GTR2 and use some kind of screen grabber (I think fraps will work) to make a video of it.

Oh ok, I already have fraps but I was saving that as a last resort kind of thing.
