Anyone have good looking paint schemes for classic muscle cars? I'm looking to change up my colors a bit and was wondering if anyone had some sweet color schemes. Please provide the name of the paint you used. Also, be sure to tell me what car it was you used the scheme on.

Paint: Milano Red
Wheels: Silver Chrome or anything shiny silver.

Always good on classic muscles.

Yes. I had this scheme for the Krammer Mustang. it's pretty sweet.

the Pink and Green...only if you're a pimp...or a member of the "Pimp My Ride" show.

An Orange body and black wheels is also a good one

A few of my personal favorites are sublime and plum (both dodge colors). I also love hugger orange (chevy color). I try to keep the car with factory paint. Also chrome the wheels, you can't go wrong with that setup.

On the topic:

White or black car with
Orange/Yellow/Lime Green/Pink/Aqua wheels 👍

I like radical colour either on car itself or just on wheels :). To get that drifter look.
Other than that, imo white rims works on every colour.

A dark Mettalic blue and White wheels looks good. My Camaro Z28 RM looks the dogs knees, or the bees 🤬

still looks like a pimp's Beamer.

Light blue with dark blue rims is good. If you want a girly car, you can do purple with pink rims or visa versa.

Some examples:

Red with chrome rims:

Lol that's terrible, does not fit a muscle car in any way, shape or form.

It's completely out of the norm, hence unique. Plus, if you're good, people will laugh...until you get smaller out of their windshield.

These are some great schemes. I'm going to have to try some out. Some of my personal favorites are a Gray/Dark Silver Body on a '69 Z28 RM with Thrust wheels painted red, and Hemi Orange body on an '70 Challenger RM with stock wheels lol.

My personal favourite is to keep within the same umbrella of manufacturers; A Mini using a BMW colour, or a Prowler being painted Plum Crazy, things like that.

The Mustang looks fantastic painted Ford's Neptun-Grun Metallic, but if you don't have the chip as its fairly rare, a great alternative is Suzuki's Dark Turquoise Green Metallic (since it's available in the NCD). Just pretend you're McQueen!

I know it's not a muscle car but my Elise looks great in the white you get from the dealership with red wheels

I also tend to do that although I don't strictly limit it to the same manufacturer but broaden the scope by links between manufacturers.
Given the incestious, or opportunists, nature of the car industry that obviously means almost all car brands are in some way linked through past and present collaborations or connections ofcourse but some combinations seem more 'appropriate' than others.
For example my Grigio Ferro Fiat 500 (the new one) is rather obvious, my 2 Paganis Zonda R painted in Mercedes-Benz colours slightly less perhaps and there are other less obvious combinations.
There are exceptions, Lotus being the independant engineering consultant (often secret) for a lot of different brands is the perfect 'excuse' to paint a lot of different cars in my garage in a Lotus colour (although that has more to do with me liking a lot of Lotus paints like Gunmetal :p).
And if I just like a certain colour on a certain car which aren't linked I can be equally opportunistic as the car industry. ;)
Recently I've read an article about the Miura and it showed pictures of one in a colour called Oro Metallizzato which I wanted on one of my Miuras, the only colour I could find in GT5 which came close (and had a nice sounding and similar name) was Oro Chiaro coming from a Ferrari 512BB.....so I cheekily painted it that. :D

Or maybe I'm just taking this videogame a bit too seriously....

Is there a similar thread for Japanese Imports? That would be cool. A couple of colors combo for a muscle car (paint: car / wheels) : orange/white, orange/black, black/red, black/yellow, black/gold, gold/black, purple/chrome, metalized green/black, brown/gold, light blue/dark blue, red/chrome, black/purple TVR color, matte black/chrome. And so on..
