cool replay idea?

alrighty, i've tried this before, a couple other may have as well...

ok, so the idea is to do some sort of race (normally with lower powered cars than what you're drifting), and drift just ahead of the lead car through the whole race... i figure when you watch the replay from the car behind you, it'd be a pretty cool effect... mebbe some of you have tried this? or even with a partner who's driving normally with you?
 
I've seen a couple videos that have used that camera in 2 player drifts, it does look pretty cool...i'm gunna go do a few laps with my brother following me for my video

My brother and I have been trying to do this. It's pretty hard. Keeping racing lines is the key...plus you have to be able to control every aspect of your drift...just like real life.

We'll get it sooner or later. :D

no so much that, that sounds more like twin drifting... it mostly requires skill on the chase car's part, keeping up with the drift car...
 
Good Idea maybe the sunday cup race while keeping the other racers behind you in the mean time still drifting. Then in the replay keep the veiw of the second place racer. Good ideas make for unforgetable replays.
 
Yes that has been used and talked about through the forum, but IMHO when racing behind the last car and drifting towards their rear bumper looks way hotter. :D

Jazz95 and I have been trying to do the "twin drift" almost since the first day we tried drifting. It's REALLY hard. but it's a lot of fun to try.

Thanx for the idea of looking through another person's view. There was a replay where we actually executed a twin drift, but the way the camera was setup, you couldn't tell. With this idea, it might have been better.

haha my brother and i have been doing the same thing... we've actually have a bit of clips... we're currently trying to twin drift a whole lap with out touching or running off the course... so far we're not even close... haha...

if you manage to twin drift really close... i suggest that you use the backward looking camera from the side of the car... but if the second person is a little farther behind using a "heli"-like view looking from the hood of the lead car... adds for an awesome effect
