An awesome car, very historically important. Driven by some famous drivers near the end of Mercedes' racing period for a few decades. Obscenely valuable as well. Overall I think the older MB Grand Prix we polled is cooler though, it's just such an insane car for its time. So this gets a high cool.

Also I'm gonna put the "open poll" asterisk at the beginning of the title instead of the end, I feel like that'd make it more easily noticeable in the forum list (or maybe I just have bad eyesight)

Okay. I love the Mercedes-Benz W196, but this one we're discussing is not my favorite of the W196 model race cars. This is still Sub-Zero material nonetheless.
 
Still a few more days to vote on this poll, or else prove I was right in saying not to put this car right after another one so similar to it, which currently has 12 more votes on it. ;)
