This looks like a great piece of hardware, don't know much about Land Cruisers but I think it deserves at least a low Cool

There's a guy in my neighborhood with one of these, and he drives it all the time, and I (and the rest of my family, even the less car-oriented) think he's cool for it, so I voted cool. It's the best-looking Land Cruiser in my eyes, although that might just be since '80s boxy is kinda "in" now. To me the previous models, while cool, look a tad strange (Especially the J50) and the later ones look ever so slightly off in small ways like the J80 looking kind of like a smoothed-over J60 without pulling it off as well. They're all still cool, but as of now I like this one the best.

I wonder if/how that'll change as time's arrow marches forward and this becomes more nostalgic than this. (Although the real fun won't start until cars I grew up with in the '00s become old and nostalgic to the world at large.)

There are people today who would ask the question of "who would buy an overpriced Toyota?" Well, when you're a proven and legendary off-roading machine like the Toyota Land Cruiser, it's fairly worth it to invest in an expensive Toyota. This SUV holds up and endures. I am not going to give it a Sub-Zero, but it gets a solid Cool on this generation Land Cruiser.

To say that the values of these have skyrocketed in the last few years is an understatement. One recently sold for over $100k on BAT.

As generic as a thing made entirely of genericium*. I'm sure it is a reliable, solid workhorse but there is absolutely nothing about this that is desirable in my eyes. Uncool.

* known as genericum in the US.

I just love how rugged and purposeful old boxy SUV's like this look. Even though I prefer the later 80 series, this is a solid cool.

I know next to nothing about this generation of Land Cruiser but it looks really good for an SUV and it’s probably a very decent option for the time.

Also the ones that have the yellow, orange and red stripes are amazing.

I’ll give it a cool.
