Once again, I'm sorry for not being on top of my game posting these lately.

I've always loved the way this car looked with the little kidney grilles stuck on the front. I'll give it at least a cool for that.
 
I'll give it a cool just because it's certainly an iconic car. It appears in so many racing games and it winning Le Mans certainly engrained it into car culture forever. In popular culture it's still going strong today with very recent inclusions in games like Grid Legends and Assetto Corsa through the VRC modding team.

The car also looks ahead of its time, the single hump design with the closed off cockpit made it very streamlined, along with the very low tail and front bumper. The large fog light ahead of the steering wheel aerodynamically integrated into the nose is also a classic look.
 
(Strong) Cool from me. I never considered this BMW prototype to be otherworldly awesome, but it did its business on the track and is a pretty capable race car. This was the best modern (for its time) German prototype in top-level sportscar racing... until a fellow German make would dominate most of the 2000s in this category of racing...
