C'mon folks, take a break from your Escudo's and lime green calipers and take a gander at the Cool Wall. On the same day the poll on the newest RS6 closes, you now get a chance to vote on the first one. And I'm giving it the same score, SZ, because I love it. I know the Avant wasn't sold in the U.S. but the sedan was (albiet with some modifications). The styling is great, like most Audis, and whenever I see an A6 from this generation (which is rarely IRL, though it's in Better Call Saul a lot) I'm reminded just how good they look.

I've always had a fondness for Audi. I won't celebrate them constantly, but they have their appeal. This Audi is a very elegant car in its design. It looks great inside and out, as a sedan or as a station wagon/estate car. While it isn't a bonkers machine that demands attention, it is still Sub-Zero to me. In fact, you could call this a sleeper. Still- I call Sub-Zero.

I'm not the biggest fan of Audis. Generally they're too understated (aka boring/bland) and there has been too little progress in their design language over the past 30 years. However the C5 A6 was a bit of an exception, with some details (such as the saloon's tail lights) that gave it some much needed character.

The RS6 variant is, perhaps, a little less characterful. The flared arches give it a better stance but rob it of a little of the quirk that makes standard car a hit in my eyes. Not enough to ruin it though. Cool.
