Hey dudes, i'm having a lot of fun putting spoilers, paints and new rims on my cars to make them look nice. Im assume im not the only one having this hobby ^^
So what is your favorite self pimped car? Write down color, body parts, rims and ofc the name of the car.

You can also put up a photo of your car if you want ;)

Im at school right now but i'll link my favorite later :)

Lol -.- The other guys are having the subject "Sports" and as i've broken my right leg its quite hard ;)
So i just have to sit back and watch them kill each other at the football field ;)

The mazda autozam has a bodykit lol. You can make it into a ricer! Sorry I don't have any pics though.

My ricer car is a lime green rx-8 with yellow wheels, gigantic wing, and a fart can. No other mods, just like a true ricer. I like to take it into drag rooms and race against fully built GT-Rs and Vipers.

One of the best "pimp my ride" cars in the game.

Mazda Autozam looks really good with the full kit, and in matte black to match all the panels! (as mentioned by Tank)

Get a modern fiat 500 and you can make that look a right camp boy racer ;)

Haha that looks nice :D One of my favs is the Fiat 500 (the new one) too. Fully tuned with spoiler and everything in gold chrome :D

Race it, don't rice it.
Modify for dash, not flash.

I could never understand why people would dump hundreds of dollars on stupid ****ing body kits for their cars instead of spending that money on something that will actually make the car go fast instead of a sad, gaudy attempt at making it look fast.
I'm tired of seeing wings on front wheel drive cars. And muffler tips you can stick your foot in.

That's crazy... So your saying that every single time your buying something in real life or in GT you want something that is efficient and not good looking... Why do you think that PD putted the chromes or just even the colors into the game? Because most normal people also want to have some fun outside the racing in the game.

Some like to go the "show" route than "go" ok? Just look at the lowriders with the cloth trunks and 14 inch daytons or the dubs with 6 tvs and 24 inch rims. A "show" car can look pretty good when done right. As for the wings on FWDs, there's a perfectly good reason for that; downforce. It's like asking a muscle car guy why he needs a wing on the front of his car when it's RWD. Obviously it's to keep the wheels in contact with the ground. No front grip means understeer (just look at the Muira) and no rear grip means oversteer. Sliding into a wall backwards every time you go into a turn isn't very fun y'know?

Both my custom-built racer and one of my best looking cars is this Audi TTS-R, in Papaya Orange from the old TT, and with a full carbon aero kit

I don't think I have a self-made car that's more fun to drive or even just cruise

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI RA (older facelift Impreza in the Premium Dealership) has nice body-kits available if you DON'T Race Modify it. They're pretty cool and much better than the usual splitters, spoilers and diffusers you normally get as these actually look like real aftermarket body-kits that were made for this car.
Check it out, the car isn't too expensive either!

Theres good body kits and bad body kits,

A hellaflush 350z with a low body kit looks good, but a normal 1994 honda civic ( I saw 4 of them today with ugly bodykits) will look quite stupid. Same goes for rims, well chrome rims actually some of them look sick on some cars. But most of them don't (24's on pickup trucks, chevy trailblazers and minivans) look quite idiotic.

I knew I'd get attacked for saying something different.
But yeah, some aero bits in GT5 look really good. Like the ones for the new Fiat 500, Honda Integra or Nissan 300ZX, but most look really bad and horribly unproportioned to me.

I respect others' opinions and methods in which they cosmetically upgrade their cars, I just don't agree with it. I never said anyone was wrong or that I was right.
And to my first post, I was speaking in terms of real life, not GT5.

Here. Here are some of my cars with some aero pieces:

The Corvette ZR1 '09 with all Aero Parts, Carbon Fibre Hood and black wheels look great.
