CORE Online Racing Australia is part of the Global Expansion of CORE to Australia and America. CORE Online Racing Australia provides an opportunity for Sim Racers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia to come together and compete in a number of racing series run to the highest standards possible. On top of racing alongside competitive drivers in the Australasian region, CORE Online Racing Australia provides the pathways to compete with some of the best sim racers around the world in events like WEC, Global GT and the CORE Nurburgring 24 Hours. CORE Australia aims to cater for all types of racing from popular Australian championships such as V8Supercars and GT3, to sports cars, open wheelers and everything in between. Being a part of CORE is not just restricted to racing either. There are many opportunities to get involved from helping with Video Coverage and Commentary, to running your own series through the CORE Series Pack, which makes running a series much easier.

The CORE Australian V8 Supercar Series sees a number of Australian drivers competing with a selection of European and American drivers in RWD, V8 Powered Sedans. Races take place on Sunday nights with a 15 Round Calendar, beginning in March and culminating in November. The highlight of the season is the Australian V8 Supercar Endurance Cup, held over 3 round at the High Speed Ring, Bathurst and Monaco. The Endurance cup sees regular series drivers teaming up with a Co-Driver for the 3 rounds including one of the greatest races in motorsport, the Bathurst 1000

The CORE Australasian GT championship uses the GT3 Spec cars as seen in the CORE Nuburgring 24 Hour. Entries will be open to anyone who can make the time slot, but this is targeted at the Australasian time zones. Races will take place on Wednesday Nights fortnightly with a 9 round calendar beginning in July and finishing in October. The top 5 drivers at the end of the series will qualify for a 4 Hour, World Championship race against the best drivers in the CORE European GT and CORE American GT Series.


Planned Series:

Australian GT Endurance Series

The CORE Australian GT Endurance Series will also the GT3 Spec cars that are used in the Nurburgring 24 hour, but will encourage drivers to place consistency and patience ahead of outright speed. All races will be held on alternating Wednesday Nights in a 9 round series visiting some of the classic race tracks around the world, such as Bathurst, Le Mans, Spa, Monza and the Nurburgring. Races will be 90 minutes long using Racing Hard tyres.

Australian V8 Supercar Development Series (Slated for 2016)

The CORE V8 Supercar Development Series is planned for the 2016 season, using the same specs as the CORE Australian V8 Supercar Series. The development series will provide and entry level for new and inexperienced drivers to develop and prove their race craft before they enter the Australian V8 Supercar Series. The development series also provides drivers with an opportunity to practice and audition for a role as a co-driver in the Endurance Cup

Australian Formula Red Bull Junior Series (Starting 2015/2016)

The CORE Australian Formula Red Bull Junior Series will see drivers compete against each other in the same car, in equal machinery meaning the emphasis will be placed on car setup and driver ability. The lower power and light weight means that racing will remain close and allow new and inexperienced drivers a great platform to enter online race and develop their driving and race craft. The series will run of 6-8 rounds either towards the end of 2015 or throughout the 2016 season.
