I was sitting at home bored, and I heard about a race at Laguna Seca. I shot to my garage, jumped in the first car I saw, a Toyota GT-One, and floored it to the track. Along the way, I stopped at the gas station and changed my oil, throwing me off. I got to the 200 mile enduro right as the sign-up closed, barely joining. I missed my turn to qualify, so I was in the basement. I sat in the corner before the last, staring into my opponent's butts as they farted out the gas known as smoke. Here is the field:

As the yellow flag falls, everyone pops out of neutral and takes off; keeping steady speed until everyone safely completes the final corner. About 20 yards from the straight, halfway floors it. We stay in single file line, and I pass the CLK Then, bumping the GT30. The green flag flies, and I shoot to the first corner. The vertigo is worked back to the side next to me, and I shoot past him in the first corner. In the second corner, I pass the Viper as I enter. The tires spin and I flinch as he passes by. In corner 4, I pass the GT40. When I get to the corkscrew, I clench my teeth as I slam on the brakes.
I make the corner with NO MISTAKES for once. With the extra energy, I pass the Viper again on the last corner, leaving a five second lead on the Corvette in front of me. In corner one, I brake too early, and the Viper passes me. two laps later, I have only gained a second on him in time. By lap six, the Corvette is 2nd, and I pass him in corner two. He passes me back in corner three, my second worst corner in the game. I cut most of the way through corner 4 and fly past him, my right back wheels are barely touching the rumble strip. He pits this lap, leaving the Viper and me to go.
At the end of lap 8, the viper pits or some reason, and I take the lead. After he comes out, my tires are yellow, and he is gaining about 2 seconds on me every quadrant. I go in on the end of land of lap 9. I fall to 3rd place. The lapped CLK spins in front of me in the final corner, I barely dodge him. In the corner before the corkscrew, i pass the Corvette. He goes in the end of lap 12. The Viper goes in on lap 16, and i take the lead. The Viper passes me again in lap 17, corner 4. I have to go in at the end of next lap. I wave good buy to the viper's butt in the second corner of lap 18. I pit as planed, and the Corvette comes in right as i floor it. On lap 21, the CLk spins on the last corner again. Right in front of me, and i have a gut feeling that he does this every time. I may be able to use this to my advantage. The Viper pits on lap 23. I am too far away to take advantage of this, but i cut his lead in half. The Corvette pits on lap 28. I pit on lap 26. I pass the GT40 on the corkscrew and the CLK in the first corner of lap 30.
The Corvette and the Viper pit together at lat 31, and a lap later the CLK pits. On lap 34 the Viper catched up to me, and passes me on the corner before the corkscrew. I tap him by accident in the corkscrew; he spins pretty as a quarter. Giving up a seven-second lead, i pit on lap 36. The next lap, the Corvette pits as well. For the first time in the race, on lap 38 the Vertigo pits. The Viper spins in the last corner (i didn't do it), and i take the lead back. I pretty much have it all the way, pitting at lap 43, 51, and 59. He pits at 41, 49, 56, and 65. (note= I pitted a few times after 59 and before the next time i state, and so did the Viper, but i forgot to note them)
As i come out of the pits on lap 78, the Viper passes me. I bump him in the corkscrew, giving him the lead and him a taste of wall.
At ten laps to go, the Viper and the Corvette pit together, and the race is cinched. At nine to go, I startle at the emergency light coming on inside my dashboard. I look to see it's the check oil light.

I go to the prize office, and receive the $300,000 and my random car, which turned up to be a Calsonic Skyline JGTC(J) I have it towed via flatbed to my house in Richmond, Virginia as I drive the GT- Race Car home.
