Corrvette Hybrid

im planning to make a hybrid of a corrvette C5-R. i want to make a C5-R but hav it look like a Z06and i want it to have a Z06 name on it. but i want the car to be a C5-9.

Is this going to work if i just put the Z06 body and pait on it. And change the name.

if youv alredy done this can you post the to download or post the ini. file. thanks alot

Change the basename and the body is pretty much what I did. I dont remember the exact names since it has been a while since I did a body or name switch...
 
I did that w/ the camaro once, basically took the SS body and slapped it on the camaro race car chassis w/ all the camaro race car parts. like FP said, just take the C5R, put the z06 base name in place of the C5R, switch the body...and i think you should probably switch the color of a z06 in there too. And probably z06 tires too cuz the C5r's will probably be too wide for the z06 body. If you want me too tell me what you want and i'll try it out

Dont know if this is what you wanted, but its a damn cool hybrid IMO. Basically I took the C5R, and slapped the z06 body on it w/ the z06 paint and what not. I ended up putting the c5r tires on it, the rear tires stick out a little bit, but its not TOO bad. I also messed w/ the grip and downforce a little bit to help it put its power to the ground better. After done fully modifiying it, it came out to a nice 1149hp instead of the c5r's normal 983. And it weighs in at an impressive 968kg instead of the normal c5r's 1139kg. Did some field testing w/ it too. Does the 400M in about 9.8 seconds and has a zero to sixty time of roughly 3.3 seconds. I got it to do Midfield in about 59.9 seconds whereas i could only pull about a 1'02.3 out of the C5R. So all in all i think is a great all around hybrid. Again, dont know if it was what you were lookin for, but id suggest givin it a try 👍
