Corvette c7 gr3 fuel consume bug??

Hi, first, sorry for my english



So, tested praiano tunning of the corvette c7 gr3 (awesome) in gtcup gr3 daytona, and before, standard, and i gonna into pit fast, 4 lap, never happe in others gr3 cars. Bug? I know fuel is 7x faster in the gtcup daytona, but wtf, 4 lap??! Or this is normal??

My strategy pitting: first 5 lap fuel map 1, 6-9 fuel map 6, so, final lap fuel map 1.


Strange cause other gr3 that i tested never gonna into pit like that, always in 5 or 6 lap

Some cars get better fuel economy.
The RX-Vision gets good fuel economy.

Other things impact fuel economy as well.
Short shifting where you shift earlier
Lift & Coast, instead of slamming 200m before the braking point, lift off 400m before the braking point, then apply the brakes a little after 200m, driving those 200m without using fuel adds up.
Slipstreaming, by driving behind the car infront means you use less fuel to move the car.
If you combine these techniques together you can increase fuel range by 1 or even 2 laps.

Short shifting where you shift earlier

At least in GTS, shifting up the Vette before the red line (somewhere after the middle of the HUD RPM gauge) was faster anyway, on top of the fuel savings.

Reminds me of GT3 this. In the Trial Mountain endurance; the Corvette GS had to pit in & refuel for every singel lap(!)
to let the NSX win the race. Kaz realism..
