I'm trying to launch my bone-stock Corvette Z06 so that it will go 0-60 in 4.3-4.6 seconds go 0-100 in about 9.8 seconds and do the 1/4 mile in about 12.6 or 12.5 seconds. The Z06 can do thins in real life, so how can i do it in the game with no modifications? Also, the hp went down when i bought mine and torque plummeted to about 50. How can I fix thins? Please Help!

that always helps you engine

because when you run a race, the engine sort of "breaks in," but you also have to take care of it

btw, welcome to GTP :)

Well, GT3 isn't *exactly* like real life you know ;)

Well, if TCS is on, you may not be able to get an aggressive launch.

Also, your torque has not dropped to 50. In GT3 it is glitched, the Japanese use a torqe measurement of kg-m (Kilogram-Meters) as opposed to lb-ft (Pound-Feet). To see how many ft-lbs of torque you have, times your torque by 7.233.

So if you have torque of 50kg-m that is actually 361ft-lbs which isnt exactly like the real Z06.

Another reason the GT3 Z06 doesnt accelerate like in real life, is because cars from the Car Dealer start with the same tires which are pretty low gripping, whereas the Real Z06 comes with pretty sticky tires in real life.

Yes, there are many more options in real life than GT3 ;)

if you want to get as real as possible, try to put on some sim tires and take off all of those control things

Yes, i reckon that would get it to be more realistic.

You can keep the traction control, the real Z06 has as original equip.

Well try to buy some better tires and see what it gets to. Just try each set till you reach the most realistic launch time.

Well SIM tires would have to be closer than racing tires.

actually, i think that the simulation tires aren't actually simulating what the tires are suppose to feel like because they're just the slipperiest tires in the game.

i think i'm wrong on this. somebody correct me

Hmm. I think they are real simulation street tires though. Not sure. Someone help us out here...
