 hahha... this smiley sums up many of the feeling GT3 gives me, though it's still an amazing game.

Anyways, to my question. I got a Corvette Z06 and when it came new it had around 300 ft./lb. of torque. Now it only has about 50. The only upgrades i have put on my car are lighter frame X2 and a racing chip. I have no idea why my torque is so low now and i have no idea how to fix it. All I do know is that my car has trouble accelerating at low end RPM's. Could someone please help me?

GT3 sometimes gets confused about which units it's using. It's actually saying it's got about 50kgm torque. To find the value in ftlb (that's foot-pounds, not feet per pound - the units are multiplied) multiply by about 7.2 - so that's about 350ftlb.

(7.231 if you want a more precise figure).

It still seems that my car has trouble accelerating from a standstill.

Take off the chip and see if it fixes it...

The Sports ROM remaps your engine and alters your power/torque curves. Generally it's best used with other, more powerful parts.

Well i just checked and it's definately got 52 ft.lb. of torque. My care barely accelerates from a standstill. Is there anyway I can fix this? Or am I going to try and buy another Corvette? :banghead:

At the risk of a stupid question, what's the tachometer doing when you accelerate slowly? If the tach is pinned on the hgh end, all you're doing is smoking the tires.

Alternately, have you added the racing transmission? If so, you could have screwed up the gearing so that it is way too tall.

Yes, it SAYS that, but that's not what it means - it means 52kgm, or 376ftlb. This unit glitch occurs on a few cars. It really DOES have 376ftlb, even though it says 52ftlb. Trust me :D

Traction Control! lol, i actualy have mine all plastard to have top end, but then again i rarely slow down, which is probably why i lose the race...
