I'm getting very annoyed with this car/game. I have read on this forum that the ZR-1 can have 900 hp, but for some reason I can't get more the 840-something. I've driven over 500 miles with it, made sure I tuned it to the max, oil change, and engine overhaul. Has this happened to anybody else??

Are you sure you have all tuning parts? The RM doesn't add stage 3 engine tuning, ecu, sports manifolds or cat converter.

Mine has tops out at 905 HP with all available tuning parts, an oil change, and ~1,800 miles. An engine overhaul might get more but I don't want to bother.

My race-modded ZR1 is one of my favorite cars in the game. I gave it a yellow paint job as well to make it look more like the ALMS Corvettes. I could imagine a car like this being an unholy terror in a modern Can-Am Series. 👍

After you fully upgrade it, drive it until you see the horsepower increase and then decrease. When it decreases, give it new oil and continue to drive it. You'll get to the max HP eventually. Mine is currently at 885 but I've never given it an oil change since I rarely drive it (too common, the 787B and R8 Race Car are better and in the same HP range).

Mine may be due an oil change but I think the maximum I've ever had was around 860hp. I do use it a lot though so maybe it needs a rebuild :nervous:

905 for me on both of mine. Make sure you change the oil and "add every" upgrade. And don't forget the supercharger! After 100-150 miles you should be up to 905. Easy. 👍

You have to RM it first and THEN tune it.
If you tune first and then RM it - all the parts you put get removed.
It has 905 after tunning and changing the oil.

RM it then drive it around a for lil while get the car loose then it should get to 205. If that doesn't work make sure you get oil change or pay tons of money to revamp engine.

Yeah, if you upgrade it BEFORE you RM it, it will be around 850HP because you lose everything you put in it. You habe to RM it THEN upgrade it after you RM it and youll get to over 900HP once the engine is fully broken in. I made the same mistake you did with my first RM ZR-1, so i bought another one lol.

its stuff like this that just blows my mind about this game. i mean who really comes up with stuff like this? i just dont understand half of what these guys are thinking. 👎

If you RM it after tuning it you can add the parts back on by going into the cars settings.

You're not trying hard enough.

What I did was look for the pink goblet in the Roadster Endurance. It's somewhere in the sand pit at the last corner.
