so if i had a monster truck in GT4., and just drove right across all the barriers, and cut across the whole track, that would be the fastest time. but its cheating. just like rail riding. and it does NOT take a lot of skill. all you have to do is make sure you A ) dont hit the wall too hard, and B) make sure the rear or side of the car hit the wall first, and not the front end. then, you can just punch it and and take a hair pin going 100+ mph, and exit the corner 70 mph. you dont even have to steer. its a cheap trick. i hope that they take away all these "smooth walled corners" in GT5. but in NO way would i classify that as a racing style. thats just my humble opinion
