I was doing Mistral (78 laps of Monaco) in the F090/s, and I was bored. So, I decided to break on through to the other side by crashing into the barrier just before the chicane. I noticed it counted that as the end of the lap. But when I went back onto the track (on the left), I noticed the clock kept ticking after I crossed the Start/Finish line. After many more tries, I found if you break through and turn right, it puts you back on the track before the first timing point, and it counts as a lap.

So, you can break through once, and get a sub-minute lap. Then, if you can successfully break through again on the very next lap, you start half-way up the first hill, and finish when you break through, giving you a phenomenally low lap time.

Yeah, I know it's cheating, but I was WAY in the lead, and just experimenting. It's actually pretty hard to break through on two successive laps.
 
I just got to race on the track for the first time this past week and it is tough to read. Talk about a challenging track.
Once I get the track down, then Ill try the little trick. I wont use it to cheat (too competitive), but it would be a neat trick. Later.
