Just got GT3, and I'm wondering, how long does it really take to complete it? My friend says it'll take 2 years, but I think he's lying. How long did it take you? I'm a fast player in all the racing games I have, but I played Arcade Mode in this game, and this game is VERY realistic. It will probably take a while, but how long did it take you guys?

Thanks,

Hyper CC2

Thats like asking, how long will it take me to eat this apple?

It varies depending on how skilled you are, how much time each day you are willing to spend on it. I'd say a good few months if you are not way overly obsessed.

Well, it depends how much you race. If you race constantly and just race and win. It'll take you about a month at the shortest.

Its not VERY realistic, it has its mishaps. But its indeed realistic. For me, Ive completed it twice since ive owned it. Today, I'm tuning the cars to make them better.

No job, sad-man-a-thon will see it done inside 3 weeks.

YEs, I believe it was RoadHazard that did it in about that time. If I recall, Famine once had the free time to complete it in three weeks.

The Compendium took me 6 months. Realistically, I think 3 months is a reasonable guess.

It took me over a year because I never had time to do the Enduro's and the longer races in the F1 cup. But I had done all the races I had time for in three or four months.

Holy God! That's crazy! I'm not overly upsesed, but I race a lot of Arcade Races, Espescially in Professional Level. (L1+R1)

I believe I race at least 5 Pro Races a day, so that'll make Biginner League done in about a few weeks, preferably 2 or 3.

BTW, Der Alta, pleased to meet you, I've heard a lot about your GT3 Skills, and your Compendium was informative and inspiring, I'll read more of it up!

Thanks,

If you know what you're doing and you plan it out before you start - and you get a little luck - I can see it being done in a flat week.

Something like:
Do Time Trials. Sell Esperante.
Do licences.
Buy MX-5/Miata (get all gold on the B-licence and you won't have to).
Buy T2 Racing Tyres (Superhard/Superslick)
Do Roadster Endurance.
Win F1 car.
Slaughter most of game (and arcade mode)
Pick off the rest - Elise, Tuscan, Yaris, Evo, Type-R, Italian Avante Garde, Silver Arrow, FR, FF, 4WD, - piece-by-piece, as you've now got enough money to buy and tune anything and win easily. Get a Ruf RGT for the PD Cup...

Takes the fun out a little though.

Ive been playing for 1 and a half years now and i'm only 80% through. My progressed has stalled because all i really have left is the trim trials and all of the big series in Professional and Endurances.

Thanks Famine! Awesome Stratedgy! I'll plan it out and use it, thanks again!

This may suprise some of you, but...

I have never completed the game 100%

Yeah, who would think?

My advice to you, hyper cc2,

Listen to Der Alta and Famine.
They both know what they are talking about, and are even more helpful than you would ever expect.
👍

Me neither. I've not done 100% 3 times now.

I never do the FGT champs incase you're wondering. I don't drive the F1's. (I could try it in the R390/GT-One but I'm not that bothered)

Deveating from the plan, I can't get the gold on the last B-License test, so I went and bought a Trueno, and did the Sunday Cup, and sold the Trueno I won. Then did the Clubman Cup, kept the Miata, for the Turbo Cup, so I'll have an easy race. Hopefully not too easy, as it wouldn't be fun. Just a few upgrades to it and I'll be fine.

Thanks,

Hyper CC2

I took about a year and 8 months to get 100%, but I was not concentrating on completion and I also have a full time job and family life, so there are whole months in that period where I didn't play. I also spent a fair amount of time doing OLR and I never ran a single race just to win at any cost, such as using F1 cars or any of the "road car" versions against regular street cars. I tried to make every race competitive.

Welcome to GT3 and GTPlanet!

I've been playing this game for like 3 years and I still haven't passed 45%.

Not that I've been trying... too caught up in 'other' aspects of the game.

Thank you for the welcome, neon , I also have family life and other personal stuff to take car of, so it'll take me at least 2 years, hopefully less!

Thanks,

Hyper CC2
