I'm very new to this but I can't see any option of saving my best lap. I'm in the circuit experience hot lap like the instructions said.
Also, where do you see the split times in the replay? Mine aren't showing!

When starting your replay
Push X button
Then replay option just beside Quit button
Then yes on show race time

Thanks. I thought there was some setting I had missed but it was just that.

You need to save the replay

The instructions said to select " save best lap" but you can't do that as you can only run one lap at a time. I'm assuming that is an error?
 
yes as soon you finish your best lap, you need to quit and save your replay
