hi there..

I've quite new to Grand Turismo, not played it since the early days on the Ps1, but i've got prologue now for the Ps3 and am loving it.. few questions tho

1. On C Class, there is one event where you have to overtake everyone within one lap (think its the daytona course) in a honda and try as I might I can't get any better than 2nd place.. Any advice???

2. I've got a bronze/silver or gold in every event on C class now and its letting me into B Class events but is there any advantage to getting Gold in every event in C Class? Do you get access to more cars or anything?

Don't you get the 'black mask' GTR when you get gold on everything?

No. You don't get anything for all Golds. You get the prizes for completing the Class.

You don't get the Black mask in GT5P period, doesn't matter what you do.

Only way to drive the black mask is play pre Tokyo motorshow-updated GT5P demo (Japan only), which I still have.

Thanks. I was about to start going back through the events that i hadn't got gold on, i'm not worried about them too much now :)
 
1) Gold is doable on the first ITR mission, even on Pro physics. Just stand on it the whole way around the track, and stay behind other cars at any time you are not actually passing one. This helps you draft as much as possible. Most cars I passed to the inside except the Focus and the car immediately in front of it (I think) where I went high around them in the middle of turns 2/3 (the first high-banked turn). Then edge down for a late apex (which gets you a little gravity boost as well) and hedghop your way round everyone else. I took the Mini on the inside right before the finish line.
