How do we play PS2 games on our PS3? I want to play my GT3 on my PSP, maye even my Duel Masters:sly:

I also want to know if anyone knows when Testdrive unlimited is coming to NTSC format for the PSP, I keep seeing it in PAL I am under the assumption that PAL format games will not play on out North American NTSC Format consoles

CAn anyone think of any reasons why my PSP will not communicate with my PS3??? Thats a repeat but hey
 
PSP is region free so I'm very sure it doesn't matter. I have a game from Region 1, 2 & 3 games that all work on my PSP.

I'm not too sure how the PS2 games playing on PSP works, someone else will have to help you with that...
 
Thats encouraging, this means I can get the TestDrive Unlimited for the PSP then. I am having troules with my PSP and this is my second unit. The first one would not go WIFI and so I couldn't get it online. I traded it in for a new one which will go online but will not communicate with the PS3:indiff:
 
Oh right, guess your just unlucky... I don't have a PS3 at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it's just a setting you haven't quite got right on either the PS3 or PSP.

Finally got it playing remotely with the PS3. Its pretty awesome. I had to fiddle around withth e settings on my router bt finally got them playing nice together.
 
To answer your original question: You can't play PS2 games on your PSP (AFAIK), although you can play most PS1 games that are in the BD slot over remote play, although it may come in a Firmware update for the PSP/PS3 system one day, although it has never been confirmed.
