Just got back fromt traffic court, was doing 70 in a 55. We had to wait 45 minutes after our scheduled time to get started, and I had to wait another half hour before it was my turn to go up. Went up, guilty with explaination, blah blah blah. Knocked my fine from $75 to $10 with court costs, so $33 in all. I have to take a two hour class on July 1st, but no points were added so I did alright.

You did wrong so whats your point?

Yes court probably is boring but I'm too good for court! actually I'm only 15 so I wouldn't know.

I went to court once and the Judge sent anyone who was speeding ten mph, or less, over the limit, home. I've been to court so many times I can't even remember. But I haven't been in a long time.

One time I got five moving violations in one traffic stop. They suspended my license for three months.

I was driving like a maniac on a freeway. The state trooper pulled me over and said "Do you know why I pulled you over?!" Before I could answer he answered himself, "Because you drive like ****."

Lets see if I can remember the tickets...

1. Improper lane useage.
2. Speeding.
3. No proof of insurance.
4. Expired plates.
5. Reckless driving.

At least three of those stuck, enough to get your license suspended for 90 days.

When I was in court, the process itself was quite dull. I had a good lawyer, he did a good job.

The interesting thing was the other people.

I have court April 20th(4-20:p). 47 in a 35. In the Cobra.

What sucks is I didn't even thnk I was doing 12 over - I thought I was in a 45.:irked:

The ticket is $86, and 2 points. I'll be paying $0 to the court, and walking out with 0 points - bastards.

over here in AUS, you only go to court if your caught doing 35-40kph over. i got busted doing 71kph over but was caught with a camera and the cops came to my door and they let me off with a $305 fine (smooth talk)

131, the cars rego was under my dads name, he told the police we lend the car out to alot of friends. after checking the photo (that i still have) he couldnt see the P plates on the window (this was a few years ago when i was on my probationary licience). so eventualy he just gave us the fine and told us to give it to the person responsible (he was a nice cop).

Sorry, had to point out your signature...does this mean you're going to recklessly discharge your firearm?

Okay. :D

Just wanted be sure, next time I visit Australia. People fire off enough guns in the air around these parts, anyhow.

And I've been to traffic court too many times, but not in over 4 years. One look at how many times I've gotten off the hook, and the judge says..."not this time!"

Woo-hoo! I now have court April 19th as well. Got another speeding ticket earlier today.

46 in a 35 this time. $128 ticket.:odd: 1mph slower than the other ticket, yet more expensive. Whatever.
