Crashes to desktop

In case anyone else has the same problem: I could not get into the game after running it for the first time. Just kept CTD-ing. I fixed it by simply exiting MSI Afterburner.

Run in DX11 until its fixed.


I had the same and tried all different "solutions" that people had. Didn't fix it for me. But running in DX11 did.

It actually worked for me by just closing down Afterburner. But yes, running DX11 is best bet.
Either way, the patch should be out tomorrow so it's not a long wait.

It might also have something to do with Steam overlay when in-game.

Only crash i've had with DX11 is when opening Steam overlay, and then some odd 30 seconds later when back to driving it crashed.
Googled it, and many people have the same problem. Supposedly fixed with the Day-1 patch.
