I think that the damned pitch and roll limits should left behind. If someone flips their car, perhaps they would just be DQed. Or something to that effect. Kozunori-san said that we would might see cars fly off of cliffs, but no crashes. What do ya'll think?
 
We wont see cars fly off cliffs, that was confirmed by KY after he said we might. As for rolling yourcar, I would prefer it to not rolling at all. It certainly would make you think twice about hitting other cars ect.
 
Hmmm, doesn't matter to me.
 
Wouldn't it be cool to crash into a deer that crosses the road in Deep Forest or something.
 
Nah then sony would get lots of those animal rights people after them.
It would do some for the realism though!:lol:
 
I remeber seeing a DTM race last year when a massive Hare ran onto the track and one of the AMG Mercedes smashed into it, the Hare went flying off the track but it damaged the car.
 
Yes I think somebody had it as their avatar on an other forum.
Kinda gross with the hares guts flying everywere.

Yeah I saw that movie of the Hare aswell. In full resolution :D pretty cool. It was passed around with easter coming up last year

I think they should make new sounds when you collide with something. In GT3 that sounds like two cardboardboxes collides..
 
I noticed that in one of the GTP videos at IGN there where a sound effect when the Ford GT jumped at a bump.
 
What about going crazy and running into the people?

GREAT IDEA!! :) I Really don't need any annoying people screaming and cheering and waving their hands each time I pass.
 
Realistic crashes would stop the wheelie trick people - they'd just become a Mercedes CLR. I'm for it.
 
You know the chicane on Trial Mountain? You can jump the right side, but the engine will not let the car pitch or roll past a certain point.
 
Bring on the realistic crashes! It would also stop the people who like sliding around the walls instead of using the brakes and getting around the corner properly.

There have been many occassions when a Kangaroo has jumped across the track at Bathurst. Just after Forrests Elbow at the top of Conrod Straight is the most popular "Roo Crossing". The most recent I can remember is during the 2002 24hr race in the middle of the night!
 
Yeah, I remember that. It's amazing they get away some times...

Animals are something that occasionally get involved in every form of sport, and indeed day to day life. It's their planet too.

Yes, that is why some airports still use bird of prey to keep planes safe.
